We have a Home Depot right around the corner from us. One of the managers owns this awesome Ford Raptor. I guess the employees decided to play a prank on him and wrapped his truck entirely in plastic wrap! Its actually quite impressive, and a lot of plastic! (He's way in the back of the lot; where like no one else is so its not a total asshat parking job.)

Something like this on the hood and the grill would be a nice cheap idea for highway trips where you get a lot of chirps from little stones, also you dont have to spend hours cleaning that grille full of insects.
....... no, i just thought blocking the grille would not be a good idea.

Someone did this to my stepdad's '78 Malibu wagon on his birthday. They wrapped the car doors shut and wrote "happy birthday" in lipstick on his windshield.

Thinking he couldn't get in, they stood around laughing until he just popped the rear gate glass and climbed over the seats and drove to the bar.

Meh, no harm no foul. There is no damage from plastic wrap. I did it to my college calculus teacher's Passat. We all had a good laugh.
